  • Palanga Concert Hall is a year-round cultural object in the center of the resort with a multifunctional concert hall, suitable for organizing various concerts, festivals, TV projects, theater performances and other events.
  • The hall has 2200 seats for spectators. The space can be adapted for smaller events with 500-1200 seats. There is also the possibility to dismantle the seats on the parterre, leaving the site for standing places, then the number of spectator seats increases to almost 3000.
  • Palanga Concert Hall is "Infrastructure LT" part of a group of companies headed by Vitalijus Kuodis.

THE HISTORY

  • The Palanga concert hall as we see it today was built in 2015.
  • Prior to that, the Summer Stage operated in this place, which opened its doors in 1971. And the roots go back to 1907, when there was a "Summer Terrace" on the territory of the current concert hall, built by the order of Count Felix Tiškevičius.
  • Before the construction of the hall began, a capsule with a letter for future generations was buried underground.
  • The facade of the Palanga Concert Hall is equipped with a modern lighting system, so the hall lights up in different colors marking the most important events and dates.
  • The shape of the hall resembles a music box.
  • The hall is deepened 6 meters down so as not to overshadow the beauty of the surroundings.
  • From 2019 The facade of the Palanga concert hall is decorated with the autograph of singer and lyricist Stasios Povilaitis, officially recognized as the largest signature in the country. This Lithuanian record was registered by the Factum agency.
  • in 2024 January An exhibition in memory of maestro Stasios Povilaitis has been installed in Palanga's concert hall. The exhibition showcases the maestro's personal belongings, awards, and acknowledgments. Most of the exhibits were provided by the family of Stasios Povilaitis - daughter Agnė and wife Birutė. Loyal fans and friends also contributed.
  • in 2023 As Palanga celebrated its 770th anniversary, the Palanga concert hall decorated itself with a huge drawing on the roof so that everyone could see, even from a bird's eye view, that Palanga is celebrating an honorable anniversary!
