The concert "Tenderness" will feature the most beautiful songs of maestro Virgilijus Noreika - performed by his students, newly arranged and adapted to a contemporary sound.
The most famous songs from V. Noreika's repertoire, arranged especially for this concert, will acquire a new sound, while retaining their original grandeur. They will be performed sensitively and precisely by the Vilnius Sinfonietta orchestra, conducted by the charismatic conductor Vytautas Lukočius.
At the concert, Virgilijus Noreika's students, opera soloists Edmundas Seilius, Rafailas Karpis, and Edgaras Davidovičius, will share music and memories.
They will perform the maestro's most famous songs and opera arias: "Tenderness", "Funiculi-funicula", "Fly-sing" (Volare), "My way", "Do not leave, dear", "The Ballad of the Troublemaker", "Don't be shy, little boy", Nemorino's romance from the opera "The Elixir of Love", "O sole mio", "Non ti scordar" "Return to Sorrento" and others.
