The musical "The Little Prince" is touring Lithuania and will arrive at the Palanga Concert Hall on July 28.
This summer, on July 28, Palanga Concert Hall invites audiences to the family musical "The Little Prince", based on the famous work of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry - one of the most widely read literary masterpieces in the world. It is a sensitive, visually rich musical story that combines performing arts, live music and poetic storytelling.
The performance features well-known Lithuanian stage performers – Sakalas Uždavinys, Vytautas Rašimas, Marta Lipčienė, Ingrida Žiliūtė, Emilija Finagėjavaitė, Donatas Mačiulis, and the musical interpretation is led by conductor Vytautas Lukočius. Along with the soloists, the orchestra, choir and symbolic fairy tale characters appear on stage, creating an impressive, star-filled stage space. The author of the musical’s music and libretto is composer and director Jonas Sakalauskas.
This musical production invites you to embark on a meaningful journey that explores themes of friendship, responsibility, love, and human connection. It is a story that affects both children and adults equally: the youngest are captivated by the colorful set design and projections, while the older ones are touched by the deep and sensitive narrative.
"The Little Prince" is not just a performance, but also an experience that reminds us of a simple but important truth: essential things are seen not with the eyes, but with the heart.
Naujoji opera is a creative organization founded by Jonas Sakalauskas, developing contemporary music and performing arts projects.
