Tango was not born in luxurious salons - it was born in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, where longing met passion. That is where "Colours of Tango & Orchestra" will take you - a spectacular show that combines a live orchestra, authentic Argentine vocals and fiery tango dancers into one breathtaking story.
On stage – a real palette of tango colors. Buenos Aires-born and raised vocalist Oscar Ernesto Ovejero, whose temperamental voice conveys the purest essence of tango. Harp virtuoso Aneta Salwińska and bandoneon master, author of all program arrangements Konrad Salwiński. Together with them – a chamber orchestra and two pairs of professional tango dancers, whose passionate steps will accompany the entire evening. Special guest – Carlos Habiague, an Argentinean who has received numerous international awards, is called one of the brightest tango voices in the world today.
The most famous Argentine tango masterpieces of all time will be performed in original arrangements, in which the harp, rarely heard on the tango stage, meets the bandoneon: "Libertango", "La Cumparsita", "El Choclo", "Por una cabeza" - the same tango from the film "Scent of a Woman" - and "El Tango de Roxanne" from "Moulin Rouge".
The project, sponsored by the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina and certified by the National Tango Academy of Buenos Aires, has already conquered prestigious European stages – from the Warsaw National Philharmonic to the ICE Congress Center in Krakow. Now, this passion will reach Lithuania for the first time.
On November 21st, let tango take over your heart at Palanga Concert Hall. This evening will not end with the last chord - it will stay with you.
Tickets are limited - don't miss the opportunity to experience a true Buenos Aires night in Palanga.
