Sir Elton John is more than music. His life is a story of creativity, incredible fame, and an unwavering passion that continues to delight millions of fans around the world.
Now close your eyes and listen, open your eyes and look, it will seem that Elton John is singing on stage, although this is the first time that one of the world's best tribute shows, Ultimate Elton and The Rocket Band, fronted by Paul Bacon, is coming to Lithuania. On January 2026, 10, at the Šiauliai Arena, on January 11 at the Palanga Concert Hall, and on January 31 at the Vilnius Compensa Concert Hall, they will present a live concert, which will feature all the most famous and beloved songs of the legend.
Over 300 million records sold
"Hi Paul. I want to say a big thank you for your performance at my party on Saturday. You were a sensation! Everyone was incredibly surprised and impressed. Say a big thank you to the guys for doing such a good job. They are great musicians and you all deserve a lot of praise and success. Everyone is still going strong. Best wishes to you and the band," said Sheila Farebrother, the legendary singer's mother, to Paul Bacon, who has an incredible voice and appearance resemblance to her son Elton John, after the "Ultimate Elton" tribute show and "The Rocket Band" live concert.
Her son, Sir Elton John, has a career spanning over five decades, during which Elton has released over 30 albums and sold over 300 million records, making him one of the best-selling and most successful solo music artists of all time!
It may be hard to believe, but he has over 50 UK Top 40 and Billboard Hot 100 hits, including nine UK number-ones and nine US number-ones, as well as seven consecutive US number-one albums and seven more of his albums reaching number one on the Billboard 200.
His single "Candle in the Wind", dedicated to Diana, Princess of Wales, has sold over 33 million copies worldwide and is the best-selling single in the history of the UK and US charts!
John's many awards include an Emmy Award, five Grammy Awards, two Academy Awards, and a Tony Award. Elton has also won two Golden Globe Awards, five Brit Awards, a Disney Legends Award, and a Kennedy Center Honor.
In 2004, he was ranked 49th on Rolling Stone's list of the greatest artists of all time. In 2013, Billboard magazine named him the most successful solo artist of all time on the Billboard Hot 100 and third overall, behind The Beatles and Madonna!
