Japanese Keiko Borjeson is probably one of the most charming Japanese Arts and Culture Festival guests. She is also one of the most original jazz pianists and a unique master of improvisation, having even played at the White House.
Born in Tokyo, Keiko Borjeson began performing at the age of three and made her television debut at the age of five. The performer is a regular participant in various festivals around the world, having performed in: Italy, Latvia, Sweden, China, Poland, Germany, England, Hong Kong, Egypt, etc.
Keiko has also received the Jazz Audio Prize and Jazz Critics Awards for her CDs. Her musical style is described as elegant, rhythmic jazz with a strong bebop flavor.
