The legendary voice of Maggie Reilly will be heard in Palanga
On November 13, the Lithuanian audience will be greeted live by the owner of an exceptional voice – Maggie Reilly. The Scottish-born performer, whose voice has become an integral part of world music history, is coming to Lithuania with a special program full of nostalgia, emotion and timeless works.
Maggie Reilly's name is associated with her legendary collaboration with composer and producer Mike Oldfield . It is her voice that sounds in the global hits "Moonlight Shadow" , "To France" , "Foreign Affair" and other works, which are still constantly played on radio stations around the world. These works not only conquered the charts, but also became musical symbols for entire generations.
"Emotion is always the most important thing for me. Songs should touch a person, bring back memories, create a connection," says Maggie Reilly. "I'm so happy to finally be coming to Lithuania. I've heard that the audience here is very warm and sincere - I can't wait to experience it live."
Maggie Reilly began her musical career at a young age, but her true international recognition came when she began collaborating with Mike Oldfield in the 8s. This creative tandem created some of the most memorable works of that era, and Maggie's voice became recognizable around the world.
Later, the artist successfully continued her solo career - her songs, such as "Everytime We Touch" , also gained great popularity and are still played in concerts and on the radio.
A special evening awaits you in Palanga, where music, memories and a lively connection with the audience will be intertwined. The concert will feature the greatest hits, and the artist herself promises an intimate, cozy and emotional atmosphere.
"This concert will be about music that endures. About songs that are timeless," says the artist.
The organizers emphasize that this is a unique opportunity to hear one of the most prominent voices of the 80s and 90s live:
"Maggie Reilly is not just a name - she is a voice that entire generations have grown up with. We are very happy to be able to introduce her to the Lithuanian audience for the first time."
