This has never happened before in Lithuania - stage greats and the team of creators of the virtual reality "Angelų takais" who have joined forces especially for the 13th International MK Čiurlionis Music Festival invite you to immerse yourself in the world of the Lithuanian genius and see through his eyes how our planet was born.
The premiere of this exceptional project will bring to life thirteen stories from Čiurlionis's painting cycle "The Creation of the World".
Legendary saxophonist Petras Vyšniauskas, soprano Gunta Gelgotė and mezzo-soprano Nora Petročenko, piano virtuoso Aleksandra Žvirblytė, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, dancers of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, and choreographer and director Martynas Rimeikis will fill the Palanga Concert Hall with the energy of compositions and contemporary dance by Jonas Jurkūnas. It will be further enhanced by moving projections of brilliant paintings created by the “Angelų takais” team.
