Summer! Time for entertainment and wonderful music. "The Mermaid"... Such a melancholic story close to the Lithuanian soul. And the music, although it has enough rock elements, as the creative director for music I. Berinas said, is really soft, like velvet.
Many premieres await you. The most important, of course, is the rock opera itself, followed by the debut of the Ukrainian singer Alana Šport, who has a wonderful voice, on the big Lithuanian music stage.
Together with her, you will hear and see the most famous luminaries of our rock scene: Tadas Juodsnukis, Vladas Kovaliova, Povilas Meškėla, and the rapidly gaining popularity and actively performing Greta Švedkauska Gretchen. It is worth coming just for Indrė Andrikonytė – Ragana.
And how can there be an opera without classical vocals? It is also represented for the first time by our prima donna Judita Leitaitė, and for the young but experienced generation – Indrė Anankaitė (from the group "Il Senso") and Šarlotė Kilsch.
What a love duet!
The visual scenography solution on the screen, filling the entire stage, and the unconventional solutions of costume designer Irina Musaeva will provide food for the eyes.
The slave dance and choreography were entrusted to the participant of the World Contemporary Dance Championship, choreographer Violina Romeikaitė – Grice.
