She is calm, she is natural...
It is soft, like the earth of a pine forest covered with forest moss, on which you want to stand barefoot.
She is graceful like Fire, with whom you really want to play, but it is dangerous...
It is fresh like water from a mountain stream and unpredictable like the weather by the sea.
It changes... And it changes faster than the seasons.
Maybe that's why even all four elements are not enough to describe it?
Thus begins his photographic ode to the origins of the feminine principle – Mother Nature – by Artūras Bartkus, the author of the photography cycle «JI» and other albums and books. Perhaps the sensitivity to animal instincts developed by the work of a dog trainer, the sharpened peculiar gaze of a photographer towards natural phenomena, opens up images for him that a worried, nervous, constantly in a hurry person does not notice.
The photographer invites us on a mystical journey through Air, Water, Earth and Fire, on the path of life, eternity and rebirth. Leading us through the four main elements of life with exceptional images, in this series of photos, Artūras reveals the constant change of the feminine principle; its charm and power. We can only relax and follow: what HER will we discover this time?
The author's series of photo albums about nature will lead you into unexplored labyrinths of secret thoughts, fantasies, reflection and self-exploration, giving birth to feelings of unity with nature, responsibility and awareness in the soul. Some of these photos can also be seen in this exhibition. The magic of natural beauty opens up to every observant and curious viewer.
