Daiva Kazakevičienė's painting exhibition "PRISI' TOUCHES"

2025/01/25 - 2025/03/03

The artist's search for friendship and experimentation with colors, as well as the knowledge and expression of her own emotions, has turned into a unique cycle of "PRISI' TOUCHES" - a subtle and introspective look at the inner experiences of man and his relationship with the natural world.

Using various painting techniques, the artist aims to convey universal emotions and the most secret images hidden in the subconscious of each of us. These images transform into abstractions, which are sometimes enriched by subtly interwoven fragments of the landscape.

The main emphasis of the works becomes the expression of colors, where the dominant delicate combinations of pastel tones convey an atmosphere of lightness and peace. However, the gentle harmony of colors is complemented by a constant sense of dualism: the interplay of calm and dynamism on the surface of the painting reflects the continuous relationship between nature and man.

In the works, contrasts between elements, such as sky and sea, sometimes dissolve into a single space, and sometimes become extremely pronounced - it all depends on the moment of TOUCH and the artist's desire to embody the subtleties of time and emotions. This exhibition is an invitation not only to see, but also to feel how color and form can become a bridge between the viewer and the inner world.

Why "touch"? The sense of touch is one of the deepest human experiences, having a subtle but fundamental influence on our perception, emotions and relationships. Touch is the first sense that a person experiences in the womb. It is the basis for our relationship with the environment and ourselves. It can convey feelings of security, warmth, closeness or, on the contrary, reveal internal dissonance and tension. The artist's abstractions with subtle pastel color harmonies invite not only to look, but also to "touch" our emotions, feel them and perhaps name them.

The exhibition opening will take place on January 25 at 15:30 p.m. The event is free. The exhibition will be on display until March 3. Visitors to the Palanga Concert Hall are invited to enjoy it.
