The INDIGO art group of painters, which brings together artists of various ages and styles. Those who are not indifferent to the culture of their country, who love the beauty of nature, and who are looking for ways to reveal and depict art itself. Each member of the group organizes their own personal exhibitions not only in Kaunas, but also throughout Lithuania and abroad. In Klaipėda, the exhibition "Beauty Where I Was Born" is held at the JUSIONIS Art Gallery, 2025. author Marius Morkūnas, the artist Zita Tarasevičienė, who has the status of an artist, has exhibitions at the Riga Embassy and in Germany. The Kėdainiai Multicultural Center exhibits exhibitions by the artist Indrė Morkūnė - Makelytė. The exhibition "Architectural Journey through Lithuania", Zapyškis Church, 2025. author Maryna Pugachova. Fausta Kybartienė's exhibition "My Brush Stories", travels through Lithuanian cities. The group members do not hesitate to participate in group exhibitions and plein airs in Kačerginė, Zyplių Manor, Maironis Literature Museum, Palanga Concert Hall, Alytus Cultural Center, Raudonė Castle, etc.
The artistic views of the INDIGO art group of painters are secular. Each artist develops an individual style, but in the work of this group one can meet the artistic attitudes of realism and impressionism. Plein air painting has a great influence on the group, which helps to discover a connection with nature, the beauty of the landscape, therefore, earthly colors dominate in most of the works. A romantic image of the sea is created, and sometimes minimalist landscapes combine water and sky into one harmony, realistic landscapes are also promoted. There are members in the group who represent pure abstraction or try to abstract things in reality, there are also manifestations of symbolism.
The INDIGO art group currently has 8-10 members: Marius Morkūnas, Zita Tarasevičienė, Indrė Morkūnė – Makelytė, Fausta Kybartienė, Maryna Pugachova, Žaneta Lošienė, Ieva Grunskytė, Ignė Grigaliūnaitė, Asta Bonniot, Urtė Morkūnaitė.
The exhibition opened on January 3, and visitors to the Palanga Concert Hall are invited to admire the exhibition until February 13, 2026.
