The good-humored and humorous duo "2 METRAI" of David Norvil-Davis and Rafail Karpys shares their impressions of a fantastic day and presents the song "Fantastic Day". As always, the duo solves serious life issues in their own ways - with jokes, self-irony, and not necessarily reliable advice.
With this song, the duo reminds us of their only concert this summer – on June 19 at the Palanga Concert Hall. According to the performers, life should seem more fun for at least a few days after it.
When asked what a fantastic day is for him, Rafail Karpis says that there can be a wide variety of recipes.
"A fantastic day can be very diverse - it can be time with family and loved ones in nature, a fun trip to unknown places, or even a trip to a country full of new experiences. A fantastic day is also when you manage to perform well at something you've been preparing for for a long time - for example, a concert, after which you receive a heartfelt ovation from the audience. People's smiles, the love of loved ones, and the recognition of the audience really lift your mood," says the performer.
At that time, Davis had a somewhat simpler view of life.
"A fantastic day for me is a photo shoot with Rafail - with him you constantly get vitamins from A to Z. A fantastic day is also when the children finish school, music school or kindergarten, when students finally graduate. Another fantastic day is when my wife doesn't have a headache," the artist laughs.
The duo says that the new song was born very simply - out of a desire to remind people that sometimes it's enough to dramatize less and laugh at yourself more often.
"There are various recipes for how to improve a bad day. Delicious food lifts my mood – you can probably tell by looking at me,” smiles Rafailas. “But sometimes it’s enough to spend time with loved ones, go to the cinema to watch a good comedy, or just laugh at your worries and self-importance.”
Davis claims he has an even simpler option.
"The surest recipe for a good day is to come to a "2 METERS" concert and make your day fantastic," he says.
The only concert of the duo "2 METRAI" this summer will take place on June 19 at the Palanga Concert Hall. For the concert, the duo is preparing everything they do best - music, improvisations, biting jokes and completely unnecessary life advice.
