Life rarely resembles a straight, planned highway - it is more like a winding campervan journey, where the most beautiful things happen precisely when you deviate from the route. This summer, Mantas Jankavičius invites you to a special concert series "Journey", which was born from personal experiences and the desire to share what is real.
It will be a unique sensory experience, where music, space and emotion merge into one whole. Each evening will become a unique stop, inviting not only to listen, but also to truly experience the moment. The artist shares how the same songs can acquire completely new colors and depth in different environments.
A sound that touches the soul
The formats of the “Journey” concert series will vary from sensitive acoustic evenings to powerful performances with the whole band, when the music will sound with an engaging rhythm. A distinctive highlight of the tour will be innovative headphone concerts, which will be presented in Nida, Anykščiai and on Gediminas Castle Hill in Vilnius. This format eliminates any distance between the performer and the listener, helping the sound to reach everyone personally, as if straight inside. This will be an opportunity to rediscover the well-known songs of Mantas Jankavičius and hear new works in a completely different context.
Six stations – six inner transformations
Each location of the “Journey” tour was carefully selected to correspond to a certain stage of human growth and emotional state. We will begin the journey in Nida, where we will invite listeners to say “Hear” – ourselves, the sound of the sea in a concert with headphones. In Palanga, we will all say “Love” together and celebrate life together. In Anykščiai, near the Puntukas Stone, the time will come to say “Stop” to ourselves and enjoy the peace in a concert with headphones. At the Druskonis Lake Amphitheater, we will shout “Live” with all the energy of the crowd! The “Discover” performance at the Kaunas Yacht Club will invite each listener to feel what wonderful things can be hidden when you deviate from the planned path. Finally, in Vilnius, on Gediminas Hill, the culmination of the tour will be an invitation to “Experience” in a concert with headphones. This series of concerts has its own internal dramaturgy, reflecting the maturity, peace and transformation that accompanies a person throughout life.
