The Palanga Hotel and Restaurant Association (PVRA) together with the Palanga Rotary Club invites you to the 27th charity event. All funds raised during the charity event will be donated to the emotional support service "Jaunimo linija", the Palanga Youth and Volunteer Center, as well as the Palanga City Nursing Home, the press release states. The main goal and mission of the support event is to share kindness together. And everyone can contribute to this goal: buy tickets to the Kastytis Kerbedis concert for themselves or their loved ones, as well as purchase a ticket to the Gala dinner and auction. The solemn event will be hosted by former TV presenter and businesswoman Laura Imbrasienė. The charity auction will be conducted by well-known journalist Edmundas Jakilaitis.
K. Kerbedis supports the idea of allocating funds to solve youth problems
The first part of the "Star of Hope" event will feature an exclusive concert by singer K. Kerbedis. "I am very happy that my songs will be performed at this event, because it is always an absolute pleasure for me to contribute to such beautiful initiatives. Together, we can help each other find the path to strength," says the famous artist.
K. Kerbedis supports the idea of allocating funds specifically to solving youth problems. According to the performer, participating in such an event gives him the opportunity to contribute to an important mission - to help young people, who are facing great challenges today. “Knowing that music has incredible power, I feel like I am part of something bigger, and this motivates me to do everything to help young people move forward and discover themselves,” says K. Kerbedis.
The stage giant also sends a sensitive message to the younger generation: "Each of you is important. Remember that even in the darkest moments, you can always find understanding and help. It is being together that helps young people move forward."
One of the main goals is emotionally resilient youth
Every year, the organizers of the “Star of Hope” event responsibly choose which project they can contribute to. For example, during the “Star of Hope” event held last year, all the funds collected – almost 40 thousand euros – were allocated to the Rimantas Kaukėnas Support Fund. Laura Taučiūtė, President of the Palanga Hotel and Restaurant Association, noted that this year, for the first time, “Star of Hope” will have two parts: the first – K. Kerbedis’ concert, the second – a Gala dinner and an auction. “Our goal is the only one – to raise as much money for support as possible by selling tickets to the concert, lottery, auction, and gala dinner,” said L. Taučiūtė. The head of the association was pleased that the event raises an increasing amount of support every year: “I hope that this year’s evening, in its scale and the amount collected during it, will be the largest in the Western Lithuanian region.”
On January 31, the already traditional charity evening "Star of Hope" will be held in Palanga, which will also include a concert by Kastytis Kerbedis.
