This year Palanga concert hall is celebrating an impressive anniversary of its operation, celebrating a decade that changed not only the fate of summer stage, but also the attitude towards the seaside resort. Since its opening, this space has become an integral part of the cultural and business life of the summer capital of Lithuania. It remains the only hall built in the last two decades after the restoration of independence, specifically designed and intended for concerts in Lithuania.
Quality is determined by uniqueness
The uniqueness of the Palanga Concert Hall lies in its purpose and technical superiority. "It is the only one built after the restoration of independence, in the last two decades
"A facility specifically designed for organizing concerts, and not adapted, like, for example, sports arenas. This is what ensures exceptional acoustics and the best experience for both performers and spectators," emphasizes Vaidas Zdancevičius, director of Bravo Events.
According to V. Zdancevičius, this is undoubtedly the best concert venue in all of Western Lithuania.
Bravo Events is one of the first and most concert-organizing partners at Palanga Concert Hall, with an average of 10 concerts per year. They have organized performances in Palanga by Katie Melua, Matteo Bocelli, as well as Imany, Gregorian, and Colum Scott, which have left the audience indifferent.

Music, culture and entertainment for everyone
This summer, Palanga will once again welcome the voice of world-class performer Katie Melua, accompanied by an orchestra. The city is also preparing to welcome jazz and soul music legend Gregory Porter, the legendary band Bad Boys Blue, and the charming Italian singer In-Grid, Italian lyric tenor Luca Minnelli, and many other greats of the global music scene.
Lithuanian music lovers will also not be left out, as the most famous Lithuanian performers and groups will be seen on the big stage. The following artists will present their creations to their fans: Linas Adomaitis, Jazzu, Vaidas Baumila, Paulina Paukštaitytė, Donatas Montvydas, Evgenya Redko and other famous performers. And this is only a small part of all the performances that will take place at the Palanga Concert Hall. In autumn, Palanga will become a real center of attraction for older people, as the largest music, education and sports festival in Lithuania – “Seniors' Week” will be held here. During it, seniors will be invited to a diverse program: from concerts of popular music and opera soloists, meetings on topical topics to health exercises, hiking, brainstorming and film screenings. Many of these events will be free of charge.
The brightest stars and business meetings
Palanga concert hall remains a major venue for both world-class music star performances and important cultural events.
The virtual reality project "On the Paths of Angels", which deserves special attention and was a great success last year, returns this year renewed and invites you to the "Creation of Worlds" sessions, which will take place in July and August.
For the first time, Palanga will host a Japanese Arts and Culture Festival, which will include the International Bonsai and Suiseki Exhibition, the EBA and ESA Congress, a concert by Japanese jazz artist Keiko Borjeson, and a very colorful festival program. This unique event will bring bonsai and suiseki masters and Japanese culture enthusiasts from all over the world to Palanga.
The concert hall has also become an epicenter for business events. International conferences, closed gala evenings, and corporate meetings are organized here. One of the most prominent examples is the legendary conference "Breaking Point", which brings together the most influential Lithuanian business owners and managers from all over the country to Palanga.
Aida Aleksandrovienė, director of the Palanga Concert Hall, reveals that the Palanga Concert Hall has set even more ambitious goals for the future.
"The team works hard and sincerely to make Palanga Concert Hall a concert space not only for the city, but also for all of Lithuania. After all, visitors from all over Lithuania and Europe come to our events. We feel a strong synergy with city representatives and hotels, because it is no secret that events taking place in Palanga directly affect hotel occupancy. We are all working together to achieve a common goal - to ensure high-quality recreation and cultural life for both city residents and guests," says the director of Palanga Concert Hall.
Appreciated by both visitors and locals
According to Palanga City Mayor Šarūnas Vaitkus, the record number of events and the increasing flow of spectators confirm that the hall is successfully fulfilling its purpose.
"Over the past decade, the Palanga Concert Hall has become an important element of the identity of the city of Palanga. Thanks to this hall, Palanga can offer high-quality events all year round," says Š. Vaitkus.
Š. Vaitkus reveals that due to its special acoustics, this hall was even chosen in 2024 for a very prestigious event – the European Wind Orchestra Championship, which is only allowed to be organized if the hall meets very strict acoustic requirements. By the way, this exceptional event in Eastern Europe, namely in the Palanga Concert Hall, was held for the first time in 70 years. It brought almost 4 thousand participants from all over Europe to the resort.
"In anticipation of a meaningful anniversary, I would like to wish the Palanga Concert Hall to continue to maintain a high standard of quality, to be a focal point of culture not only in Palanga and the region, but also throughout Lithuania, and to the team - creativity, energy and inspiration," says Š. Vaitkus.
An impressive reconstruction is planned
Palanga's cultural life is active, so the city wants to offer as many opportunities as possible to organize various cultural events in the resort. Therefore, a building permit has already been designed and obtained for the House of Music and Art, which, together with the main building - the Concert Hall - will be
connected by an underground passage and will form a single complex. The implemented project will undoubtedly further increase the variety of events and expand the cultural potential.
