Pianist Ieva Dūdaitė, who has toured the country's largest arenas, is returning to Palanga, where she began her historic journey, but this time for the final chord. It is announced that the show "Piano Vasara" on August 14 will be the last performance of the "Grand Piano Show" tour program that enchanted the audience.
"I've been waiting for this evening for so long, but I don't feel a single bit of excitement. My hands aren't shaking, my heart isn't beating. It feels like I've been preparing for this for 28 years. I heard these pieces as a teenager and imagined this scene," said I. Dūdaitė at the show's premiere last year.
Having presented an exceptional "Grand Piano Show" in Palanga in December, the pianist was already shaking the stage of the largest arena in Vilnius a few weeks later, and in March the tour culminated in a show in Kaunas that left no one indifferent, which forever changed the concept of a classical piano concert.
On August 14, the pianist returns to the Palanga Concert Hall - where she began an impressive journey that has inscribed Ieva's name in the country's music annals as the first Lithuanian pianist in history to hold a solo tour in arenas. The "Piano Summer" performance is the last chance to hear the "Grand Piano Show" program.
"Together with the team, we created history. This is an event I have dreamed about since I was a child and a true dream come true. But the summer brought even more new ideas and plans for what else we could create in the future. Therefore, I invite everyone who has not yet had the chance to take the opportunity to hear our Grand Piano Show program live for the last time," says I. Dūdaitė.
On the eve of Žolinių, an impressive show awaits the audience in Palanga, featuring hits by such groups and artists as Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Adele, Queen, Billie Eilish and John Legend, as well as Ieva Dūdaitė's original work and music from famous film soundtracks.
The pianist, who will play a luminous piano created especially for the "Grand Piano Show" tour, will be assisted on stage by her sister, opera soloist Marija Dūdaitė, and DJ Mamania, a member of the group "G&G Sindikatas", who will also tell a unique story about the evolution of hip-hop.

The time has come to once again pay tribute to the "Grand Piano Show" program and continue to create something new and special, surprising the audience even more in the future," says Tomas Inčikas, the head of the event organizer, "Seven Live".
