On July 4th, an exceptional musical evening awaits at the Palanga Concert Hall - that day, Linas Adomaitis will not only hold his biggest summer concert on the seaside, but will also present a new joint work with one of the country's most prominent performers for the first time.
As stated in the press release, on the long weekend, July 4, singer L. Adomaitis, together with the KTU Academic Choir "Jaunystė", will hold their biggest summer concert on the seaside - at the Palanga Concert Hall.
As the grand performance approaches, the artist finally revealed a long-kept secret – Mantas Jankavičius will be the special guest of the evening.
Two famous artists will perform a brand new song "Žodžiai dangumi" live for the first time, which will officially reach listeners only at the end of July. However, the audience of the concert in Palanga will have a unique opportunity to hear this work before everyone else.
"Mantelis and I have been good friends since 2002, when we participated in the Baltic television competition "Fizz Superstar". We finally joined forces and recorded what had been brewing all this time," says L. Adomaitis.
The premiere will be even more special because a documentary-style video clip for the song will be filmed in the Palanga Concert Hall and backstage. Therefore, both artists encourage fans to dress up and actively participate in the premiere moment.
However, these are just some of the surprises that L. Adomaitis has prepared for his listeners. The concert in Palanga will also feature several completely new songs from the artist's upcoming album. One of them is the upbeat song "O kur įdėjainis?", which, according to the author, has every chance of becoming an audience favorite.
"I suspect that the entire audience will sing this song louder than us. It's one of the gems of my upcoming album. We can't wait to present it to people," says L. Adomaitis.
The exclusive evening will also feature the artist's most famous hits, which have accompanied his more than thirty-year musical career: "Have You Seen Her?", "Lips Like Cherries", "Oceans", "Your Colors", "I Envy Myself" and many other popular songs.
Another special highlight of the evening will be a joint performance with Danguolė Beinarytė, the leader and conductor of the KTU academic choir "Jaunystė". Together they will perform one of the most sensitive songs in Linas' repertoire, "Laiko mašina". This is a rather rare case when Danguolė takes on the role of a solo singer.
"This will be an especially luxurious and high-quality honey for the ears and souls of the listeners," smiles L. Adomaitis.
